New To State of Mind?
At State of Mind Yoga and Meditation Center you will find a wide array of amazingly talented and trained teachers that instruct from the heart. Our first priority is getting you to ‘fall in love’ with yoga & meditation like we did! This means directing you to a class that fits your ability – helping you feel comfort and ease in the poses – reconnecting you to your breath in a responsive way and reminding you that everything you need is already within you just waiting to be remembered. We practice yoga/meditation not to get better at yoga/meditation, but to get better at life.
As a new student at SOM, you have several choices to sign up for classes…
1. Just show up and our staff will guide you through the check-in process in person…
2. You can also create your account online and sign our online waiver when you chose to purchase with a credit card. If you are new to the studio you are eligible for our “Taste of Yoga” package…..3 classes for $25.00. This initial package offering can be purchased online or in our studio and expires 30 days from date of purchase. Exclusions apply: one per new student/no extensions on expiration date/cannot be shared or transferred to another student.
Once you have an account, you can just show up/walk in for class and register then OR if you are a techie, download the Tula Software I-Phone/I-Pad app, choose ‘State of Mind Yoga’ as your studio, and sign up virtually for classes and workshops. https://stateofmindyogaandmeditationcenter.tulasoftware.com/student/account/summary
state of mind yoga excepts peerfit wellness credits from your insurance provider. register online through your personal peerfit account. when you come in to redeem your class, please show us your registration. we will check you in and also note that you are a peerfit client.
Also please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before class starts so we can show you around and get you acquainted with our space.
SOM has everything you need for your class…you may borrow our mats and other yoga props, though we suggest you invest in your own mat over time. You may want to bring a water bottle and a towel.
A staff member is at our front desk approximately 30 minutes before class starts and 15 minutes after class ends.
A receptionist is at the studio to answer questions Saturday mornings 9:15 -11:15.

Please keep in mind the following guidelines when practicing at SOM so that all of our students may have a pleasant experience. Thank you!
Our studio is a CELL FREE ZONE. Please finish your conversations before entering our space.
Please make sure all electronics are on silent mode (or better yet…shut them off completely!) so they make NO NOISE/VIBRATION.
Please enter the studio quietly as there may be class going on.
Please remove shoes and jackets and place in our lobby area.
You may bring your personal belongings into our studio and leave them in the designated area.
Please refrain from wearing strong perfume/oil’s as some of our clients are sensitive to smells.
We strive to start our classes on time, so please arrive at the studio 10 minutes before class starts.
If you are running a few minutes late…it’s ok! Please come. Our staff may ask you to wait a few minutes until the centering meditation is complete before entering the practice room.
